Area Sales Manager
Based at our headquarters in Zaventem, you will be responsible for driving sales activities across the Eastern Europe market. You will promote and implement Desmet solutions in seed preparation, solvent extraction, oil refining, fat modification, biodiesel, and HVO/SAF pre-treatment business lines. Your role will involve developing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships. Key accountabilities

Build, develop and prospect the Eastern Europe market in line with business targets.

Establish, maintain, and develop relationships with clients, agents, and consultant network.

Analyze technical and commercial specifications issued by the clients and coordinate internally to offer the right technical solution.

Build final proposals out of the different technical and commercial proposals and negotiate on terms and conditions.

Act as an intermediate link between clients and engineering teams.

Keep up your knowledge of the solutions offered, products and services and work closely with internal technical experts and standardizing team.

Grow turn-over with respect for margin.
Required profile
- MSc degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or Commercial) or at least five years of experience in a technical-commercial position, ideally in an industrial or technical environment in Eastern Europe.

A self-driven team player, pro-active, and hands-on

Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in German, Polish, Ukrainian or Russian is mandatory.

Good understanding of the European market and able to develop the business in your region.

Ability to learn quickly and bring creative solutions to problems.

Willingness to travel frequently (30%).
