Sales Engineer
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to drive growth across Southeast Asia and the Far East, including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand. This role blends technical expertise with strategic sales to deliver spare parts and project solutions. You will identify opportunities, build client relationships, and tailor solutions to customer needs. Be part of a global business shaping the future of sustainable processing in seed preparation, solvent extraction, oil refining, fat modification, biodiesel, and Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)/Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) pre-treatment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Spare Parts Sales
- Respond promptly to inquiries and quotations, offering expert recommendations.
- Drive aftermarket growth through proactive customer engagement and support.
- Advise clients on critical spares, inventory planning, and upgrade options.
- Conduct regional visits to promote spare parts offerings
Project Sales
- Identify, pursue, and secure project opportunities including plant upgrading, retrofits, and new projects.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized project proposals.
General Sales Activities
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and technical discussions to understand requirements and promote spare parts sales and project solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation, CRM updates, and reporting of all sales activities.
- Able to speak Mandarin, Hokkien and Bahasa Indonesia will be added advantage.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in industrial spare parts or equipment and project sales.
- Strong understanding of vegetable oil downstream process, rotating equipment, process equipment (chain conveyors, extractor, DTDC, crystallisers etc.), instrumentation, filter press, internal packing is a plus.
- Experience in B2B industrial sectors such as palm oil, water treatment, chemicals, oil and gas or manufacturing.
- Strong customer service orientation with problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, tender submissions, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and sales documentation processes.
- Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, or exhibitions.
