As part of a team you are responsible for all technical and process related matters in the department of Seed Crushing and Solvent Extraction for vegetable oil.

Key accountabilities

  • Be involved in the execution of Projects on the engineering side where you are responsible for producing engineering documents (basic PFD, sizing & specifications of equipment, heat & mass balances, utilities and consumptions, P&ID’s, operating manuals, description of automation, HAZOP studies…. By doing this you will work in close relation with the Project Managers and will have frequent contacts with other departments, customers, suppliers, certification institutes…
  • Participate to start-up of the plants and you carry-out troubleshooting on site.
  • Be involved in improving existing processes and equipment as well as contributing towards development of new designs.
  • You will be confronted with health & safety issues, as well as environmental aspects

Require profile

  • Master in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Chemistry)
  • 3-5 years of experience in an engineering department or a company in process industry
  • Special interest for processing, mechanical design, Unit Operation related to the process industry
  • Pro-active and self-driven attitude, able to prioritize & meet deadlines
  • Accurate and work organized
  • Team player, sharing essential information
  • Sufficient analytical for trouble solving
  • Willingness to travel for short periods, representing our company
  • Fluent knowledge of English, French, Dutch (any other language will be an asset).
