KEY ACCOUNTABILTIES
For standard commercial documents and tools used by the Desmet Sales force for extraction processes:
- Develop and maintain quotation templates, including block diagrams, flowsheets, process descriptions, equipment lists, and performance sheets, for standard commercial documents and tools used by the Desmet Sales force for extraction processes.
- Develop and maintain the process-related components of SEPsizer, the equipment sizing, selection, and costing tool, and collaborate on the costing-related components.
- Train and support the Desmet Sales force across all offices in the effective use of standard documents and tools.
For standard engineering documents and tools used by Desmet Process Engineers and Project Managers for extraction processes:
- Draft, review, and maintain standard P&IDs, technical sheets, and specification sheets for various seeds, process configurations, and proprietary equipment.
- Develop and maintain standard engineering calculation tools and contribute to ITPs for proprietary equipment.
- Draft and review automation functional descriptions in collaboration with the Automation Department at DEC.
- Collaborate with team members to develop technical notes, including design criteria, erection checklists, emission control approaches, and commissioning guidelines.
- Review equipment drawings and ensure alignment with established engineering standards.
- Train and support Desmet Process Engineers and Project Managers globally in the use and project-specific adaptation of standard documents.
- Gather feedback on non-conformities and identify required updates and improvements to standards.
- Drive the continuous improvement, consistency, and effective application of engineering standards and tools across all offices.
