Join our dynamic team at Desmet RoseDowns in Ahausen, conveniently located between Rotenburg and Verden. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch customer service and supporting our press construction and spare parts production for the Oilseed and Rendering sectors.
KEY Accountabilties
- On-Site Customer Support:
- Take charge of setting up new presses and maintaining existing ones.
- Replace parts and, on occasion, entire machines, including gearboxes, screw geometry, and baskets.
- Assess wear and replace parts as necessary.

Provide detailed explanations on machine operations and other related inquiries.
- Production Support:
- When not on assignment (30-60% of your working time, depending on workload), you will contribute to our production facility.
- Engage in a variety of tasks including pre-assembling new machines, performing turning, welding, grinding parts, and other related duties.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to undertake travel as needed.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in mechanical engineering and metalworking, or experience as a Technician/All-rounder.
- Quick Learner: Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and techniques.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Enthusiasm for learning and solving new challenges.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both German and English is highly desirable.
