Desmet Technology Workshop showcases innovation in Timișoara, Romania 

On June 3–4, the Desmet Technology Workshop brought together industry leaders in Timișoara, Romania, for two days of innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

The event welcomed participants from 9 countries across Central and Eastern Europe, including Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, and Serbia.

Desmet experts from Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, and India delivered insightful presentations on cutting-edge technologies in the Oils & Fats industry.

Topics included pressing, plant-based protein processing, deodorizing technologies, solvent extraction, plant automation, and more - demonstrating Desmet’s commitment to driving technological excellence.

A special highlight was an inspiring presentation by our guest partner, Vyncke, adding valuable perspective on sustainable energy solutions.

Participants spent the evening immersed in the local culture, experiencing Timișoara's traditional dances, food, and drinks.
