Leadership change at our Asia, China, Far East (ACF) Hub

Marking another key moment in Desmet's journey, we would like to announce a leadership change at our Asia, China, Far East (ACF) Hub. Giuseppe Paesano will succeed Kiak Kern Khoo as Managing Director. Giuseppe will also join the Desmet Leadership Team, where he will play an integral role in setting our strategy and business plans for the future.

After nearly 33 years with Desmet and over 40 years in the oils & fats industry, Mr. Khoo will be retiring as Managing Director. We are deeply grateful for Mr. Khoo's immense contributions to our organization and the industry. His leadership was pivotal in establishing Desmet China and expanding operations to Indonesia. Under his guidance, our workforce in the region grew significantly, and our sales surged. After retiring from his role, Mr. Khoo will support Desmet's ACF Hub as a Senior Business Advisor.

Giuseppe Paesano brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having successfully led various strategic initiatives within Desmet over the past decade. We are confident that Giuseppe's leadership will continue to propel our ACF Hub to new heights.
